THE KINGDOMS SELL 3.6 MILLION STITCHES. FRENCH FRANC, BRINGING THE TOTAL ANNUAL RING / WINE VOLUME IN 2020 TO MORE THAN 10 MILLION SWISS FRANCS. FR.

http://server.digimetriq.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/BagheraWines-Sells-2020's-Most-Expensive-Wine.jpg Geneva, 7. December 2020. – Sunday the 6th. In December, an auction of the Baghera/Wein kingdoms organized by Baghera/Wein brought in 3,556,500 CHF/USD 3,988,614/ € 3,290,473 lots. 100% of the lots were sold for a price of 1.8 to 3.6 million Swiss francs. These results, obtained in a particularly chaotic economic context, confirm the appetite of collectors around the world and their confidence in Baguer/Wein’s expertise. All offers are collected by telephone, online (internet) or by pre-order. Thanks to these results, Baguer/Wein’s total annual turnover in 2020 will exceed 10 million Swiss francs.

Lot 14, Kingdom of Baguer/Weinstern Lot and unique in the world, consisting of a set of six large bottles of Methuselle (6 litres) from Domaine de la Romanée-Conti, which were sold to a Swiss buyer for 900,000 Swiss francs – making it the most expensive wine sold in 2020. Lot 13, a set of six large bottles of Jeroboam (3L) from Domaine de la Romanée-Conti, was sold for 408,000 Swiss francs. The first 14 lots, all from the Enoteca Pinchiorri collection, lots 1 to 14, yielded a total of 1.8 million Swiss francs.

In particular, the wines of the Prieuré-Roch and Bizot have been the subject of intense trade and the prices obtained for each batch show a growing interest among the great lovers of the Côte de Nuit terroirs.

The Chartreuses collection has aroused a lot of interest among customers because of the quality and historical character of the 120 bottles. Known as a niche product for the discerning connoisseur, Chartreuse liqueurs have become increasingly important among lovers of rare alcoholic beverages in recent years, with all the parties on offer in the Kingdom being more than twice their conservative estimate.

At the end of the sale, Michael Gunn, CEO of Baguer/Wein, commented. In a very special context in 2020, we are very satisfied with the kingdoms, a resolutely dynamic sale in which the buyers were highly absorbed by the auction, driven by the impeccable quality of the lots on offer. Regardless of the economic context, when there are scarce goods on the table, the rules of passion and lack of interest and participation of international bidders. In recent months, Bagera/Wein has cultivated its relationships with its customers more than ever before. The dematerialisation of sales has enabled the company to find its customers in a different dimension, but always in a spirit of exchange and passion for wine.
