New York, 25. March 2021. – Podere Le Ripi, one of Tuscany’s most prestigious biodynamic wineries, has announced Colangelo & Partners as its agency for the US. The agency will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive communications plan targeting the industry’s key media, practitioners and influencers. Podere Le Ripi has been part of the Tuscan wine scene since 1997. This partnership marks the beginning of a new chapter dedicated to growing and leveraging brand awareness in a marketplace that continues to offer new opportunities.
Colangelo & Partners will focus on strategic media and commercial relationships to increase awareness of the Podere Le Ripi brand and support sales opportunities. The activation underscores the winery’s commitment to the domestic market and its unwavering dedication as a pioneer of Tuscan wines. Podere Le Ripi joins a growing list of prestigious Italian agency clients, including Ornelia, Trentodoc, Pio Cesare, Frescobaldi and Tenuta di Arceno.
The history of Podere Le Ripi, founded by Francesco Illy in 1997, began with the desire to create an ecosystem of passion, respect and community. The goal of Podere Le Ripi is to produce wines with a strong identity with their terroir and without the addition of chemicals, therefore in 2012 the estate switched completely to biodynamic farming, and this remains one of the fundamental principles of their winemaking philosophy.
Winemaker and general manager Sebastian Nasello joined Podere le Ripi in 2012, where his main goal was to highlight the characteristics of the soil in the final product. In 2014 he became CEO of Podere Le Ripi and began cultivating the young team that makes Podere Le Ripi the dynamic and unique company it is today.
My greatest desire is to continue to produce wines that find harmony between nature and human intervention, says winemaker and CEO Sebastian Nasello. We are delighted that our collaboration with Colangelo & Partners will enable us to make these wines and the convincing philosophy of Podere Le Ripi better known.
We are very pleased to add Podere Le Ripi to our Italian portfolio, said Gino Colangelo, President of Colangelo & Partners. It is a privilege and a great responsibility to work with such a prestigious property, to tell its story and to help it achieve its communication goals.

About Poder Le Ripy
Founded in 1997 by Francesco Illy, Podere Le Ripi produces some of Montalcino’s most artisanal wines. With vineyards located east and west of Montalcino, Podere Le Ripi produces a variety of Brunello di Montalcino wines with a touch of terroir from three different individual vineyards. Since 2012, the estate, run by a young and passionate team, has completely switched to biodynamic farming, which is still one of the basic principles of their wine philosophy, along with sustainability. Like wild fermentation, there is a magical bond between people, terroir and wine in the winery, where the commitment to sharing and exchanging knowledge is undeniable.
