The FIA Formula 1® World Championship® welcomes a top quality Italian sparkling wine to the stage.

2. March 2021: Ferrari Trento has been named the official sparkling wine of Formula 1®. This prestigious three-year partnership, announced globally ahead of the start of the 2021 Formula 1® World Championship in Bahrain, will be the official toast to Formula 1® celebrations in 2021 and beyond, with the presentation of Ferrari Trento sparkling wine.

Formula 1® has chosen Ferrari Trento as a partner for its celebratory beverages, not only because it is one of the most prestigious producers of sparkling wines, but also in recognition of its long and distinguished history. Like Formula 1®, this family-owned Italian company, based in Trentino in the Italian Alps, is a world leader in its field and has been creating its luxurious Trentodoc wines for more than a century, growing into a renowned Italian sparkling wine on par with the rest of the world.

With an incredible tradition in motorsport, Formula 1® is a pioneer in its field. More than half a billion passionate fans support the world’s top drivers and designers, who have become household names and cultural icons.  The emblem of the Italian Ferrari Trento lifestyle has also been appreciated for decades by distinguished guests at major international events, and a bottle of Jeroboam Ferrari Trentodoc has even appeared on the Formula 1® stage in the past. However, this year’s return marks a special moment: Ferrari Trento presents its world-class sparkling wine at all Formula 1® Grand Prix™, taking part in one of the sport’s most emblematic moments with the stage.

We are very pleased to announce this partnership with Formula 1®, which is both a success and a starting point for us, said Matteo Lunelli, President and CEO of Ferrari Trento. It is a success because it shows the fame and appeal that Ferrari Trento wines have around the world, thanks to our team who work tirelessly around the world. It is a start, because we are only at the beginning of this extraordinary adventure that will allow us to bring the Italian art of living to Formula 1®. We decided to undertake this project, even in these difficult times the world is going through, because we strongly believe in the future of Ferrari Trento.

This collaboration is based on shared values such as a commitment to excellence in every detail, innovation and passion. This is a great source of pride for us at Ferrari Trento and, I believe, a testament to the global appreciation of Italian excellence, said Simone Mace, CEO of the Lunelli Group.

Stefano Domenicali, President and CEO of Formula One® : We are pleased to announce that Ferrari Trento is the official partner of Formula 1®. Success is in our DNA, as is the fact that the Ferrari Trento is the sport’s most emblematic party, which makes it such a natural partner for us. For more than a century, Ferrari Trento has been synonymous with Italian excellence, putting its passion at the service of creating beautiful sparkling wines that can be aged at any time. We look forward to working together to shape and improve our fans’ experience on and off the track.

The 2021 FIA Formula 1® World Championship® starts on the 28th. March with the Gulf Air Bahrain Formula One Grand Prix and a full calendar of events scheduled throughout the year, where Ferrari Trento will be present to celebrate with drivers and fans throughout the season.
