The World’s Best Wines and Spirits just got a new competition to crown the best wines, spirits, and beers from across the globe.

The Nation’s Restaurant News is the leading publication for restaurant marketing and financial news. It was founded in 1961 by a group of major restaurant and hotel chains, and is owned by the National Restaurant Association (NRA). For over 50 years, NRA has been the leading advocate for the restaurant industry.

The International Wine & Spirit Competition (IWSC) is a global competition for wines and spirits. Each year, over 900 judges from more than 100 countries evaluate and score the best wines and spirits. The competition’s winners are then awarded gold, silver and bronze medals after a rigorous judging process in over 50 categories. The new competition, which will take place in September 2021, is designed for wine and spirits producers who want to present their brands directly to food and beverage professionals with purchasing power and decision-making authority.

For more than 25 years, leaders in the hospitality industry have turned to Santé magazine,

a bastion of up-to-date information created exclusively for the world of gastronomy. Read and used by professional hospitality owners, presidents and managers, this monthly publication provides the essential facts and figures restaurant owners need to run their business as efficiently as possible. The content is a tribute to the top of the restaurant industry, highlighting great restaurants, people, products and best practices.

Santé Magazine, with its monthly magazine and daily newsletter, was a godsend during the pandemic, as restaurants had to constantly adapt to a changing environment. Helpful articles on using online ordering platforms, developing takeaway menus, supporting ready-to-drink alcoholic beverages, etc. proved indispensable as Covid’s world turned upside down.

The new international wine and spirits competition Santé offers producers the chance to access the high-level buyers they need. The International Health Wine and Spirits Competition takes place from 31… From August through September 2 in Santa Rosa, California, and is judged by sommeliers, restaurant professionals, experienced judges and the media.  The deadline for submission of applications is the 26th.
