The fifth generation of the winemaking family is launching a range of Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon.

HELENA, CA, 14. April 2021. – Naturalis Wines’ new range of wines, made from 100% certified organic grapes, debuts today with Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon. These gluten-free, vegan and non-GMO wines are bottled in lightweight, eco-friendly glasses and are available nationwide for $14. This fifth generation Angove family winemaker is the latest in the line of Angove family winemakers to be imported by Trinchero Family Estates for over 15 years.

My family has been making wine for 135 years and organic farming has been an important part of our history and leadership here in Australia for decades, says Richard Angove, co-director of Angove Family Winemakers. Natural wines are our family’s purest choice in organic viticulture and winemaking, and we couldn’t be happier to expand our partnership with Trinchero Family Estates to bring them to the U.S. market.

The Angove family has long understood that vineyards are more than the source of their grapes – they are part of a holistic and interconnected system. It is the health of the entire vineyard ecosystem that produces the best tasting and most flavorful grapes. At no time does the Angove family use pesticides, herbicides, fungicides or synthetic fertilizers when growing certified organic grapes for Naturalis. Angove Family Vineyards also cultivates healthy biodiversity in its vineyards. They believe the humble bee – the symbol on the Naturalis label – is vital to the local flora and fauna that thrive in their organic vineyards.

Naturalis Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon are sourced from a certified organic vineyard owned by the Angove family near Paringa, South Australia. Nanya Vineyard has over 700 acres of fully organic vineyards, making it one of the largest organic wineries in the world. The Sauvignon Blanc has aromas of citrus and passion fruit, with fresh apple and red berry flavors. Naturalis 100% Chardonnay has delicate aromas of stone fruit and subtle oak that precede flavors of melon and white peach. The Cabernet Sauvignon series has aromas of 100% plum and black currant accompanied by flavors of black cherry and chocolate. All three options are labeled with recycled paper and packaged in recycled cardboard, contributing to the brand’s commitment to the environment.
