The Spring Mountain District, located in Spring Mountain, Nevada, has been around for over 120 years. It is a very popular area for tourists and locals alike, as the district is filled with many establishments, including lodging, dining and retail options. The importance of the Spring Mountain District is that the land is rich with history, and the history is intertwined with the land. The land is where the district was born, but the land is also where the district gets its name, Spring Mountain, from the Spring Mountain Mine.
Spring Mountain District is a new winery and tasting room located at 4200 Spring Mountain Road, in unincorporated Clark County, Nevada. The District is owned by Spring Mountain Wines, a family owned and operated company. Spring Mountain District is a culmination of a dream and a vision. The dream of owning a winery and tasting room, and the vision of bringing you the best of Nevada’s Wine Country.
The vineyard opens to the public on Saturday, June 9th from 11 AM until 5 PM. And, while it’s not slated to be the biggest release of wine ever, it’s our belief that it will be the best release of wine ever. However, that is dependent on you, the public. In other words, it’s really up to you.

Napa County’s Mountain AVA welcomes tourists.
August 2021, St. Helena, Napa Valley — Visitors and consumers are welcome to visit wineries in the Spring Mountain District AVA in St. Helena. Visits are by appointment only, as are most wineries in Napa Valley.
When the Glass Fire ravaged Napa Valley last autumn, this AVA may have been one of the worst affected growing zones. Today, the roads are clean and the vineyards are greeting guests thanks to the tenacity of the people who farm on Spring Mountain.
The area presently has about 30 vineyards and wineries, totaling 1,000 acres of land. The Spring Mountain District appellation became a recognized AVA in 1993, with a distinct character forged over 150 years. Oak, madrone, Douglas fir, redwood, tan oak, and conifers are among the many mixed hardwood woods found in the area. The AVA is renowned for its steeply sloping vineyard parcels, which range from 200 to 2,250 feet in elevation and have slopes of up to 30%.
The Spring Mountain District AVA is accessed mainly through Spring Mountain Road, which is about a 15-minute drive from St. Helena. Spring Mountain Road curves to the top of the AVA, providing spectacular views. The region is mostly wooded and lacks a commercial atmosphere due to the small number of vineyards, the majority of which are not visible from the road. Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Viognier, Syrah, and Zinfandel, as well as exceptional Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Viognier, Syrah, and Zinfandel, are all grown in this region.
